Open Firefox, then click Bookmarks and Manage Bookmarks (you might need to scroll up if you do not see Manage Bookmarks at the top of your Bookmark list)
Then from the Bookmark Manager, it is File/ Export. Remember where you save your bookmarks.html file, because you are going to need to find it in step two.
Now, visit http://www.sharinglinks.com/importbrowser/ . (If you forget the name of the page, you’ll find it on the HELP page)
Click Browse to find your saved bookmarks.html file. Select your privacy option (we recommend Public whenever possible) and it a few seconds you will be redirected to YOUR Bookmarks page.
Add tags to apply to imported links. Check Use Folder Names as Tags if your bookmarks are organized in folders.
*If you import a single folder (without any sub-folders), you can not use the feature. You must have both a “Parent Folder” and a “Child Folder” in order to use the “Child Folder” names as tags.
Now is a good time to add tags. Start by clicking Edit, then by clicking on previously used tags, or entering new ones in the tag data entry field. End by clicking Save Changes.

I am currently trying to modify my own scuttle install to import my bookmark.htm files with auto-tagging. I noticed that your install has already done this. I was wondering if you would be willing to share that modification to your importNetscape.php file. My site is not for profit, and is completely private. If you are interested, I have added some other modifications to mine that you might be able to utilize, should you want to “swap” features. I am fairly close to getting this working in mine, but I am tentative to learn the RegEx it would take, so this would save me some time.
Mine has a feature that grabs a screenshot of the page that is bookmark and displays a thumbnail of that page next to the link. If you care to see it, it is at http://favortites.briggsfam.com.
Thanks.
P.S. Your form is broken on replytobarbara.com, otherwise I would have emailed you there.
Woops, thats http://favorites.briggsfam.com
Thanks for the share, will try to use this one.
I am trying to export my Bookmarks. I was following your instruction, but I don’t see Manage Bookmarks. I am using Vista on Dell E1505 Notebook. Could you help me please? Thank you.

Thanks for video. It’s great.
I use SharingLinks for a long time.
Yet, there is another way to export your bookmarks - use Tidy Favorites. A simple and neat Windows utility.
The government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
VupsDr Excellent article, I will take note. Many thanks for the story!
